Privacy Policy

This policy explains how WeBuildStack ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through webuildstack.com (the "Site"). We act as the data fiduciary (controller) for this data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
What we collect
- Information you submit: name, email, phone number, company, project details, budget, timeline and preferred meeting time when you use our contact, quote or meeting forms.
- Technical data: a one-way hash of your IP address (used only for spam and abuse prevention), browser user-agent, the page you submitted from, and campaign (UTM) parameters.
Why we use it
- To respond to your inquiry, prepare proposals and schedule meetings (your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to requests you initiate).
- To protect the Site from spam and abuse (legitimate interest).
- To understand which pages are useful so we can improve them (legitimate interest / consent where required).
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who processes it
We use the following service providers, each bound by data-processing terms:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, database and security.
- Resend — delivery of transactional emails (confirmations and notifications).
- Google — Google Calendar and Google Meet invitations if we arrange a call with you by email.
Some providers process data outside India. Where they do, we rely on their contractual safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) and transfer only what is necessary.
How long we keep it
Inquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after our last interaction, or for the length of any resulting contract plus the period required by Indian tax and company law. Spam-prevention records are deleted within 24 hours; the hashed IP stored with an inquiry is kept with that inquiry.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. EU/UK residents also have rights to restriction, portability and objection. Email webuildstackapps@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local supervisory authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our hosting provider. Access to the leads database is restricted to authorised staff with authentication.
Cookies
The Site sets no advertising cookies. Third-party tools (analytics, chat, scheduling) may set their own cookies only when they are enabled and loaded. The admin area uses a strictly necessary session cookie.
